Room by Room: Kids' Bathroom

The original bathroom, with a tub, toilet and small sink, was approx. 5' x 6 1/2' in one unpartitioned space. It was extremely cramped for 3 kids. For the remodel, we lengthened the room and separated the tub and toilet from the sink with a pocket door so more than one kid could use the bathroom at a time (you can see the edge of the door opening on the left hand side).

The walls are painted the palest blue - the tint matches the penny round tile perfectly. A round orange bathmat and a circular mirror repeat the round theme.

The photo is one I took of my son when he was 9 months old and just learning how to walk. I think I found the perfect place to display it!

Kids' BA:
Wall paint: Palest Pistachio (2122-60); Trim/Ceiling paint: Simply White (OC-117), both by Benjamin Moore; Wall Tile: 3x6 Rittenhouse Square, color Arctic White (0790) by Daltile; Floor Tile: Penny Round - Brittany Misty Series, Blue (BRP-3090) by American Universal; Cabinetry: custom, Niviya, San Jose, CA; Light Fixture: RAB Lighting, Vaporproof line; Mirror: IKEA.
